Apple is set to present the next iPhone through the first few weeks of September. But new info disclosed by a trustworthy expert source is directing to a specific date.American tech blogger Evan Blass first suggested, via a sequence of tweets, that pre-orders would begin on
9 September.
He then stated that the iPhone 7 would be released the week of 12 September, and then further refined that guess, detecting a specific day: Friday 16 September.
Given what we know about past chronology, this would mean an Apple announcement on the antedating Tuesday or Wednesday (5 or 6 September), monitored by pre-orders beginning on Friday 9 September, the launch of iOS 10 on 15 September, and culminating with the iPhone 7 hitting stores the next day.
Also, in the wake of rumors that the iPhone 7 will ditch the old-style 3.5mm headset jack, this week Tinhte.vn printed convincing new images of a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter, which would allow iPhone 7 owners to use normal, wired headphones.
The iPhone 7 is expected to come with updated EarPods that connect via Lighting, or perhaps Bluetooth.
